  1. I don't know if anyone has posted about this, but I just discovered these GNC Fiber Chews, I also bought the Flax ones, because I just love Flax Seeds. Let me tell ya... I've feel good!! The Fiber one tastes like lemon Starburst & the Flax, well, it taste like Nutty/Flax. They're great. I haven't tried the Fiber One Chews, but that's next on my list.
  2. You really should call and ask Dr.So for some advice, I call for the dumbest little things and he's always super good at answering my silly questions. I would love to hear what he says. Keep us updated.
  3. I made a spinach quiche.. I used wheat tortilla to experiment, I cut one up in 4's and lined the bottom of the muffin pan, threw the mix on top and baked. The tortilla crisped up nicely. I have to remember next time to PAM the tray first :/ still, they were delicious.

  8. Wow!! today is my 1yr bandiversary... I'm 2 lbs from my half way point... and I'm proud of myself.

  9. I was trying to go out there for new years eve but I changed my mind since I really don't know where to go and what's good out there.. Pammie!! that sounds awesome!! I loved reading the rules on the link you posted... LOL I wish all bars had that. Have fun toots!!
  10. I usually don't grab one out the fridge and drink anything with bubbles, But I do take sips from my boyfriend's pop just to get rid of the craving... I just really try to stay away from it completely. It makes me burp like crazy and then I start making loud bubbling noises in my tummy..LOL and I heard it was 6 months..
  11. I can totally relate to the whole "tossing cookies" in the nearest trash and being in the car and having to spit and so on. I have learned that the band is NOT going to melt the fat away. I also had that impression that I was going to be able to eat EVERYTHING I wanted, just small portions of those unhealthy foods. This was before I started getting real serious about losing weight. I researched before I got the lapband and read all these post on here from REAL lapband patients and well... I came to the agreement (with myself) that I was able to compromise not having a HUGE bagel with cream cheese anymore, or stuffing my face at the buffet, or having ONE more "food coma".. I know if I don't work out and eat healthy, I WON'T lose weight. That's how everyone's body works. I'm just so thankful for my band because it reminds me that I don't NEED to have that second serving of what ever, I don't feel as "hungry" as I used to say I always was. I'm not going to say I mastered my band yet, I don't think I've found my soft stop spot yet, I still have to spit up sometimes because I had one too many extra bites of something. I think everything takes time and just be patient. I'm sorry you had to get unfilled, and that you had to experience that... just be patient with it. I'm sure you didn't just waste all that money to NOT succeed. Give it another chance and try, just don't rush.

  13. I didn't lose weight for a while after the 21 days... I gained 5 back from the 10 I had lost on the 21 days, but that was my fault. I wasn't eating healthy or exercising. Don't depend on the band to melt the fat, you have to work on it. Exercise and watch your food intake. Journal to help you keep track of your food. and WORK OUT WORK OUT...

  16. So before I went to bed last night I made some quiches in a muffin pan. I made mine similar to the sausage one you have here. I just improvised with what I had in my fridge. I had fresh broccoli, ham, cheese and chives.. so I made a whole pan and before I left for work this morning, I threw one in the microwave before I left and had a yummy breakfast. I usually have a hard time with scrambled eggs but this way, I was able to chew it way better and enjoy every piece. Thank you doll!!

  19. Are you kidding me? This will be my 5th!! but the last one, I don't think I really needed it. I screwed up on that one. This one I really do need though.. Saturday is back to work on the mini-goals. 10lbs down by the 15th of Jan?? Time to FOCUS!! :)

  20. I had my small black coffee this morning and right after I was done I had 1 (One) Milano cookie... It went down fine since I don't have much restriction... But lately I've been having slime come back up... I usually have to spit and It's gross. It's not a PB, no pain, just gross. Does anyone know what triggers that? I usually stop at this point even if it was my first bite. Just would like to hear your input.
  21. I went to Sams club the other day and bought Carnation instant breakfast essentials ... I just throw it in the blender with some fruit and non fat milk.. and it fills me up until lunch. This is just Breakfast.. I still have trouble with Lunch and dinner. I just eat what everyone else is eating but I disect it and eat the good stuff.. Like my mom made "caldo de pollo" yesterday.. I grabbed a bowl... left the potato out and grabbed some chicken breast and cut it into pieces..with zuchinni and made it a meal... I also had some steamed brown rice with it.
