  1. Does muscle milk taste like protein drinks? Or more like regular milk?
  2. I would love to know this as well. I am having problems with creamy soups. Broccoli cheese made me bloated, tomato gave me the runs, and after how I felt yesterday after eating it, I am afraid to try anything, oh and I don't like mushroom or clam chowder. So the only thing I can eat is cream of chicken. I can't stand any type of juices right now, so I drink water all day, with an occasional chocolate milk, strawberry milk, and hot chocolate. I also have popsicles, and fudgsicles, and drinkable yogurt. I am also trying to figure out how to get more protein in.
  3. I sooo hear you on this. I have avoided rides just because of this fear. Congrats!!!
  4. Yes, I started on Day 7 as well.
  5. That is wonderful!! Now, I can't wait to have popcorn. I think the friday after Day 21 post op, I am going to the movies and getting a kids combo..lol
  6. I just found them at Ralphs. They come in a package with Lemon ones and Raspberry ones. I have been looking forever for them, and it's a perfect little 3 oz package, PURE heaven..lol
  7. I was excited too, but now I am not even wanting any..lol. I think because it's been so hot here in Southern Cali, that all I find is cold things. I did buy these wonderful Minute Maid Soft Frozen Lemonades, like the kind they have at Disneyland (for those who know what I mean). Well they finally sell them in the store, and perfect timing for me to find them. Pure Yumminess!!!!
  8. Ohhh awesome. Sounds yummy. Thanks for the suggestion. I will try and find that tomorrow
  9. lol. I hear ya, I can't tell you how many times I wanted to suck on that pretzal stick that was staring at me, or how I really wanted to suck on a salt and vinegar chip. I am still trying to recover from that soup, but I did just have a fudgsicle..so yummy! I am doing pretty good on the 21 diet, because I am not really hungry (outside of yesterday, being slightly hungry), and as long as I don't think about food.
  10. YAY =D> This makes me really happy. I used to eat popcorn every night, and I definitely can't go to the movies without eating some.
  11. Ok so the broccoli cheese soup did not go over well with me. I fill so bloated, like I am carrying a 50 lb rock in my gut...good grief!! There goes that creamy soup. I hope I can handle tomato soup and cream of chicken
  12. I know bread and rice are usually food items that most can't tolerate, but what about popcorn. I love it, and I can't wait to have some after my 21 day post op, but I am afraid it's going to be something that won't go down easily.
  13. That's what I am going to miss the most. I was obsessed with Subway, I had it every day for lunch prior to being banded.
  14. Wow, that's really interesting. I have been sipping the heck out of my drinks, I sip on one 16 oz water bottle all day at work. Sometimes, I take too big of a sip and freak out. Fortunately, I haven't had problems with gas.
  15. Christy, good question, they are like a perfect size. Also what about non-fat frozen yogurt?
  16. Thanks for the replies. I just had my first creamy soup, broccoli cheese, with the bits of broccoli strained out of course, and it was ohhhhhh so yummy. It was weird though, as much as I was craving it, I could only eat a little, and I was fulfilled. As far as the fudgsicles, I bought the regular kind (can't remember the name of them, the ones in the yellow box..lol) but with no sugar added, so there not even a 100 calories. I will be having one tonight.
  17. Ok thanks for your input. I wasn't hungry until I started drinking those yogurts, now all of a sudden I am craving everything this afternoon.
  18. Ok so tomorrow is Day 7, which according to the instructions from the OCC, creamy soups can be started Day 7 - 11. Is there any benefit in waiting until Day 11, or does it not matter? I was going to wait, but I have noticed I am becoming a little hungrier today, and started craving something besides sweet ( I can't do the broth anymore...yuck). Do most people start creamy soups on Day 7? I just want to get some input. Thanks
  19. Whoooo the benefiber did work. Now I don't feel so bloated.
  20. That is so wonderful that you finally had your surgery. Enjoy your time at the OCC, they are awesome!!
  21. I am having BM issues, which I have never had in my life. I finally got some Benefiber tonight, so I am hoping that helps. And I have also had some really good burps tonight. Burps have never felt so good..lol!!
  22. Hmmm...I don't think I can get a note from her father. He is not really around, and although we don't have a legal document stating custody, she is in my care 100% of the time.
  23. Ok, so I just scheduled my first fill for Feb 20th, and I was going to bring my 11 yr old daughter with me, because she wants to see TJ, and also we are going to go to Sea World after. Is the OCC going to be ok with me bringing her? She's old enough to sit in the lobby while I go in and get my fill, so that's not a problem. I just want to be sure.
  24. I am 5 days post op, and everything is going good, I am keeping hydrated, taking a vitamin, no gas pains, not hungry, just a little bloaty, but I am also feeling a little spacey..lol. I emailed Dr. Miranda, to see if there is anything I can do to help this, but I wanted to see if anyone else experienced this. It's not out of control, I mean I can cope, I went back to work today. Just trying to figure out what I can do to not feel so lightheaded.
