  1. I struggled with weight after having my children. I worked out at the gym and still couldn't manage to lose weight or if I did, would gain it back super super fast. Although I did find out 11 years after having my first child that I had a thyroid problem and the doctors never diagnosed me... Looking back at my bloodwork from then showed that my levels were in the low thyroid function levels, but the Docs were convinced I was fine. Ughhh..... :lb20: It is amazing how my body has changed after having my children.

  10. Red, :lb10: I do agree that going by clothing size is a much better way of realizing your progress. You are doing great!!! Besides soon them size 12s will be way too big for you.. I work out at the gym alot and since muscle weighs more than fat, it is easy to be deceived by them numbers on the scale. I have tried to stay away from my scale, but I just can't no matter how hard I try. lol Hugs, Kristi

  17. Hello All, I also love Mexican food. I grew up in San Diego and there are some awsesome restaurants. Mt favorite used to be Cotijas in Mira Mesa, but I think it is gone now. They had the best cheese quesadillas. Now I live 85 miles north of SD and there is this great whole in the wall place called El Comal and then there is a place in Corona called Miguels. (both are yummy) I learned how to make some killer chicken taquitos in Illinois (of all places) Ha ha... I don't make them for myself much anymore, but I will for other family and friends. I made them in July for a friend and last month for my sister and set aside some chicken mixture just for me. It was good without frying them and without the crunchy tortilla wrap too. OK, now I want some taco meat, oohhh shredded beef yum... :good3: Hugs, Kristi
  18. Congrats Sabrina, That is awesome. Hugs, Kristi
  19. Well, I am not sure how many have heard, but there is some very sad news about an actor that has been battling Cancer for the last 1 1/2 has passed away. Patrick Swayze passed away today. :cray: I am so saddened by this. I have loved his movies for years... The movies I loved him in was: Dirty Dancing... Of course. Red Dawn and Ghost... But may all time favorite with him is... The Outsiders-- he is so hot in that movie He will be missed greatly.. What is your favorite movie that he starred or co-starred in??? Or even one you just liked him in? Kristi
  20. :lb10: 1 year bandiversary is awesome. And I agree with others, you look great!!! Kristi
  21. Jessica, :lb10: Your journey is just beggining.. As for drinking, take small sips all the time to keep yourself hydrated and as much water as possible. I also still love to chew ice to help with water intake... Ab workouts, it took me about 1 1/2-2 months to be able to do crunches without any issues, but now at 3 months out, they are no problems whatsoever... Since my kids are 10 & 14, I don't lift them anymore, so I cannot answer that. Keep us updated, Kristi
  22. I do squats and my booty is not as flat anymore....
  23. :lb10: That is definitely a wonderful accomplishment. Kristi
